Disablement and Removal
2010 was removed because it was very buggy and broken. Scripts would very often break, making pretty much everything unplayable.
2010 worked fine (except it didn't have a health bar) until around the time 2012 came out, which is when it seemed to break. Some time later, 2010 was disabled. The download was disabled and servers were unjoinable, though 2010 still remained on the Games page. Going to the 2010 download page during this time would return the message "2010 is currently disabled".
Shortly after 2007 was added, 2010 was removed from the Games page.
Finally, in Spring 2018, the 2010 download link was completely removed. Visiting it will return a 404 error.
Confirmation of Return
In 2017, a video uploaded to the Finobe YouTube channel stated that Finobe would soon be receiving a 2008 client, and a fixed 2010 client. A user then created a thread on the Finobe subreddit titled who is hyped for fixed 2010 and 2008?, to which Raymonf, the owner of Finobe, simply replied, "no 2008, yes 2010". Another user then explained the reasoning of Raymonf's decision by stating that 2008 cannot happen due to security reasons, similar to why 2007 was removed.
On June 1st, 2018, whimee, a staff member, posted a Tweet to the Finobe Twitter, teasing that 2010 would come soon. Later, on the Finobe Discord, whimee said 2010 would be coming soon, and that Slappy826, a staff member, was working on it. Later during the month, Slappy826 said that he was working on 2010 and that it would release soon. On June 21st, 2018, Raymonf said that 2010 would only work with Places, and that self-hosted servers would not support 2010.
Currently, 2010 is still on a forum post listing potential features to be added to Finobe.
